President Uhuru Kenyatta is Thursday morning leading the country in the National Prayer Breakfast at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi.
The annual event brings together leaders to reflect and pray for the country. This year’s prayer breakfast will be graced by President Salva Kiir Mayardit of the Republic of South Sudan.
More than 3000 people are expected to attend the annual event that aims at putting the Nation before God.
The Prayer Breakfast Movement in Kenya, which is modeled after that of the US, dates back 30 years, when a small group of men started meeting in Nairobi with the aim of ultimately starting a National Prayer Breakfast.
