Popular actress Mishi Dorah has appealed for financial assistance after she was hospitalized at Nairobi Women’s Hospital with an enlarged heart and inflammation around the lungs.
According to Mishi, she was denied treatment due to an outstanding bill
“I come to you to plead with you to help me get back on my feet. I’ve been sick for years now but on Monday it got worse and I got rushed to the Nairobi women’s because I couldn’t breathe well… I was completely off… And when we got here I was taken straight to an emergency room and got helped… When I was stable I was brought to HDU where I’m currently recuperating from an enlarged heart and some inflammation around my left lung….” she wrote.
The socialite pleaded with her followers to help her raise Sh100,000 which the hospital needed as a down payment.
“It has taken me a lot of courage to come out and ask for help since the people I trust and call my friends and family hasn’t come through for me… (It’s a lesson) I’ve been really going through a lot and still is…forget what you see on the media, I’m just a strong woman.
“Currently the bill is Sh147,000 still increasing as days goes by and they need 100k as a deposit… I can’t do this by myself as things are really not good on my side right now… Whatever you contribute shall go a long away please, it’s really urgent,” Mishi wrote.
This is unfortunately not the first time Mishi has ended up in the hospital with the need for serious medical attention after sustaining pelvic bone fractures.
A few months ago, Mishi revealed she had been run over and left for dead by a man and has been in court since 2014 to get justice but to no avail.
A few weeks later, she posted a picture of the man she alleges tried to kill her in hospital after he was electrocuted and left paralyzed.
“Today he is paralyzed… He got electrocuted and now can’t move his body… God, I thank you… Justice can be delayed but cannot be denied…. Have a good weekend sweetheart’s,” she wrote.
