Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has offered Sh 100, 000 in support of Chief Justice David Maraga’s alleged baby mama as legal fees and to carry out a DNA test.
Through her Twitter handle, Senator Omanga set conditions for the support insisting that the woman proves the existence of the child in question. She also asked Mary kwamboka to demonstrated that she had actually met CJ Maraga.
“Dear Kwamboka, I AM WILLING TO GIVE 100K FOR LEGAL REPRESENTATION AND DNA AS LONG YOU PRIVATELY PROVE TO ME THE MERIT OF YOUR CASE INCLUDING THE EXISTENCE OF THE MINOR AND PRIOR CONTACT WITH CJ IF ANY. CJ is a respectable Elder and Leader well known to all of us. Get in touch,” Omanga wrote.

Kwamboka had yesterday caused drama at the Milimani Law Courts seeking attention from the president of the judiciary over claims that he had abandoned his child support responsibilities. However, the CJ through his lawyer Danstan Omari, dismissed the allegations as choreographed and part of the sustained politics against him.
“We have had a perusal and due diligence of the annexures that have been filed to accompany this. For those who have access to the birth certificate.. there is no registrar known as Shamwata in the whole country nor has there been an officer with the name N.P Otieno,” the lawyer said.
