Just weeks after Kenyans received shocking news when a man identified as Albert Adamba killed his 56-year-old elder brother who tried to intervene in a quarrel with his other brother John Kilibwa.
The quarrel was about who is to take a larger portion of the omena that has been served to them by their mother for supper.
Kilibwa demanded to be given more of the omena a move that Adamba did not agree with, when their 56 years old elder broth Vincent Misango intervened, Adamba hit him with a blunt object and he fell down unconscious. He was later rushed to Turbo Sub-county hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The suspect was arrested as the police continue with investigations and the body was taken to the mortuary.
Today in Binyenya village in Moi’s Bridge, Kakamega County, Another man strangled his wife to death in the same County of Kakamega, the suspect who has been identified as Ambrose Nyongesa who is 27 years old is said to have strangled his 25 years old wife Daisy Chepkirui, a woman that he has been married to for 5 months.
Likuyani Assistant Chief Maurice Mukopi says he received a call from the area nyumba kumi representative concerning the incident. “I received a call from the area nyumba kumi representative who informed me about the incident. I rushed to the scene to ascertain what transpired” he also added that the two have been living together for 5 months ” The two have been living together for five months now, Police are conducting investigations to establish the motive of the killing.”Â
The body of the deceased was taken to Kitale County Referal Hospital Mortuary.
