Another passenger has died aboard a Kenya Airways flight from Nairobi to New York.
In a statement issued on Friday 2nd September, Kenya
the national carrier said the incident happened on Friday morning around 6:30 am when the crew noticed that the said passenger was unresponsive.
“Upon further examination, medical personnel on board confirmed that the passenger had passed away. The flight had departed Nairobi per schedule on Thursday, 1st September 2022, at 11:55 pm,” Kenya Airways said in the statement.
This is the second death on a Kenya Airways flight on the same route in nine few days after a passenger died on a flight en route to Nairobi from New York.
In a statement issued on Tuesday 23rd August, Kenya Airways said that the passenger fell in midair, forcing flight KQ003 to divert the plane to Casablanca, Morocco.
The passenger whose identity is not yet revealed succumbed upon arriving at the airport.
