Kenya Airways on Wednesday 15th September announced that one of its passengers died at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airpot, (JKIA)
According to the airline, the passenger, later identified as Baringo County Deputy Governor Charles Kipng’ok died after experiencing breathing difficulties while boarding Flight KQ612 en route to Mombasa County at 1900Hrs.
They also said that the Health and Security agencies at the Airport tried to handle the issue but to no avail.
Kenya Airways has now lost about three passengers within one month.
At the beginning of September, Kenya Airways announced that they lost one of their passengers on the Nairobi-New York route.
On August 22, the aircraft KQ003 from New York to Nairobi was forced to make an emergency landing in Casablanca, where Moroccan medical workers attempted to help but discovered that the passenger, a Kenyan man, was already unresponsive.
Baringo County Governor who also confirmed the dead while speaking at the Lee Funeral home said that they could not confirm the death of his deputy.
Dr. Amoth, acting Director General for Health and also a passenger on the flight, was among the doctors who tried to resuscitate Kipng’ok but to no avail.
“It is a loss to us. We were just preparing to start the business of building our great county of Baringo,” he said.
