Counselling psychologist Benjamin Zulu has advised men not to take their lovers to school before marrying them.
Zulu said that men are always fond of paying school fees to their lovers with intention of marrying them, but later cry foul when the woman jumps out of the relationship.
According to him, women are very crafty and calculative, they always get into relationships with intention of being educated, then leave once they have accomplished their missions.
He added that two factors come to play that make women accept the offer: age and state of desperation, he continued by saying that young women have not fully developed brains, and making clear judgments are challenging for them, they later change their minds when they reach the maturity age (25) years and change priorities.
“You promise her that you will take her to school and that is all she wanted and she now feels happy and excited that she will now attend school,” said Zulu on Citizen TV.
“But the problem is there was nothing tied to marriage in her thoughts. Her mind has not fully developed and men know women’s brains get to fully develop at 25 years but they still love engaging young women into relationships,” he said.
“Problem is when this young lady starts to learn and her brain is developing she is exposed to more things and when she fully develops she withdraws from you because her priorities and preferences have changed,” he noted.
Zulu further warns men not to engage young women in relationships with cunning offers, thinking that they will tame them once they’re married.
He told men to focus on mature women who are ready for marriage.
“Marry women who are looking for husbands, their minds are psychologically ready for marriage. The journey of marriage is hard, it cannot be achieved by coercing a young child into it by paying school fees for her, “ concluded.
