Citizen Television Journalist Willis has revealed that he spent about Ksh900,000 on his weight loss surgery.
The ten over ten host while speaking to Youtuber Eve Mungai on Tuesday 23rd August, the 35-year-old media personality said that he had initially tried fitness and going to the gym but it didn’t work out.
Bazuu, therefore, decided to go for the surgery. The surgery was very expensive, and it took him about Ksh. 900,000 to go for gastric surgery. (This is a process where surgical staples are used to create a small pouch at the top of the stomach)
“I went for gastric surgery, .Mimi let me tell you I respect watu wanaenda gym , gym ni kazi, nilikua na good trainers but nilikua na loss weight but inarudi , by the time I was going for the surgery I was not doing well,. I was 164kgs I needed the surgery because my blood pressure and cholesterol were high. ” he said.
He added that the surgery reduced the amount of food he is eating. Raburu said that he did the surgery in May and within a few weeks, he had already lost 14kgs.
Raburu said it is a healthy surgery and it is a lifetime thing. Raburu said that he doesn’t regret doing the surgery and he is sure that it will really help him.
