Gilad is known for making good music that made it to upstream media and had Kenyans on their feet with his hits that the majority of Kenyans could not resist dancing to.
One of his popular hits and that is still fresh on Kenyans’ minds is the UNAJUA song which was and is still a household song that when it played on the radio or even a matatu many Kenyans will still sing along to as if it were a new hit song that was just released this week.
His other projects were the Milele song which a video of him singing the song as someone else was playing the guitar surfaced on his Instagram account under which he said “when we finished our training session this morning my new farmers pulled out a guitar and this happened” a video which was recorded in Kajiado. So your question must be “why is Gilad talking about farming?” well we are here to answer that question. Gilad is still a performing artist but he has been a part of a garlic training where farmers are trained on garlic farming methods and its economical benefits which they call the ole_raha family of farmers. speak of someone who is multi-talented.
He officially became a Kenyan citizen in December 2021 after staying in Kenya as a Diplomat for 21 years.
“It has been 21 years since I first came to Kenya ❤ and 6 years since I applied for my Kenyan Citizenship 🇰🇪 Now it is finally official 🙏🏽 najivunia kuwa mkenya 🥳 #GodIsGood,” he posted
Gilad worked as a journalist and later became a diplomat the year 2003 serving Kenya and Los Angeles and later resigned from Israel’s foreign affairs ministry in 2008 and later decided to settle permanently in Kenya.
