As the campaign day is coming closer everyone is feeling the pressure of the big day and especially those contesting for different elective positions and of them, all that are feeling it the most are those going for the big seat.
Deputy President William Ruto who is the Kenya kwanza flag bearer to the big seat earlier today let things off his chest when he addressed President Uhuru Kenyatta in a rally when he told the president to leave him alone with all due respect and that the President should be a decent human being.
Ruto did not also leave his opponent from the public redress when he said that the former Prime Minister is known for disturbing the peace of Kenya over a long period of time.
He went ahead to tell the president to concentrate on marketing his candidate Raila Odinga who he referred to as bwana kitendawili.
Ruto continued launching tough blows on the president as he continued expressing his anger by saying that “Namuambia rafiki yangu Uhuru Kenyatta, please, wakati ulikuwa unahitaji watu wa kusimama na wewe tulisimama na wewe to the last man, huyo jamaa wa kitendawili unatusukumia saa izi ni jamaa amehangaisha wa kenya na alikuhangaisha ata wewe.”
Ruto went ahead to tell off the head of state that “wacha kutuambia tutakujua wewe ni rais, sisi ndio tulikuchagua na tulikuchagua uwe rais wa Kenya. Wacha kututisha, sisi apana watu wa kutishwa.”
The exchange between the Deputy President and his boss didn’t start today as it started when President Uhuru decided to partner with the opposition leader Raila Odinga back in 2018 an agreement that was called the handshake but today’s response from the Dp seemed to be the height of it all as Ruto even told of his boss that “sasa wewe umeanza kunithreaten ati sijui utanifanya nini, bora usiuwe watoto wangu. Mimi na wewe tafadhali tuheshiane” he said.
