Elizabeth Munyalo, the wife to the late Dennis Musyoka who died after settling fire to the car he and his 2-year-old daughter in Nasra Estate, Nairobi County on Sunday 22nd has revealed that the late had a history of violence and that was one of the reasons they separated.
Speaking after she was discharged from the hospital, Ms. Munyalo said that they have been fighting over the custody of their 2-year-old daughter after they went their separate ways.
“We had underlying domestic issues from last year and decided to end our relationship. After I moved out, he ordered that I give him back the baby.
“After so many threats, I decided to allow him to see the baby. He was angry after I informed him that I was not available on Saturday when my daughter was celebrating her birthday. So when I took the baby on Sunday, he told me that he was going to kill all of us including the baby,” Ms. Munyalo said.
According to the report by the police, They could see that the two had an altercation inside the car before pulling a knife and stabbing his wife.

Ms. Manyalo managed to escape after screaming for help from well-wishers who went to rescue her and rushed her to Mama Lucy Hospital while her husband Dennis locked himself inside the car with their 2-year-old daughter and set the car on fire.
Well-wishers managed to pull the daughter out of the car and rushed her to Mama Lucy hospital and later succumb to the injuries while she was being transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital.
