John Kiarie Waweru alias KJ has retained his Dagoretti South Member Of Parliament seat.
It was songs and dancing at the Dagoretti South tallying center when KJ who contested for the seat under the UDA party arrived to receive his nomination certificate.
The former comedian retained his seat after garnering 26,394 votes against his close opponent Dennis Waweru who contested under the Jubilee ticket and got 22773 votes.
Upon receiving the ticket, the MP-elect thanked his constituents for facilitating his win.
Earlier, Waweru’s supporters had stormed the PC Kinyanjui Technical hall, protesting the election results.
