Kenyan Tour Farm Honors Arap Uria With a Trip To Maasai Mara

Popular Kenyan comedian and artist Meshack Biwott alias Arap Uria was on Friday  the talk of town and an online sensation when he posted a photo requesting to meet Drury.

Arap Uria would later meet his motivator and celebrated football commentator Peter Drury.

Uria has been imitating Peter Drury in his online content creation by lip-synching his poetic football commentary especially during goal scoring moments. The comedian met his Idol in Qatar, during on  going world cup cmpetition.

But the comedian didn’t know his actions of holding the placard in the streets of Doha, Qatar and eventually meeting Drury would land him an executive holiday.

Well, Today Kenyan top tour and Travel Company, Expeditions Masai Safaris decided to honour the Eldoret-based artist with a-3-day Fully paid holiday trip to Maasai mara national park.

Speaking during the short ceremony held in Nairobi, the tour and travels company CEO Pancras Karema said they decided to appreciate Arap Uria’s efforts and his unique talent.

‘’Meeting Peter Drury alone is a milestone, Congratulations. We have chosen to give this holiday trip as a token of appreciation of what you are doing and your unique talent. Your efforts have set a standard and have encouraged many young people. We wish you the best.’’ Said Karema

Karema also said they have reserved another holiday trip for the English commentator.

‘’ We had arranged a tour for both of you (Arap Uria and Drury) But since Drury is not with us today, we have reserved his ticket until when we will get him’’ added Karema.

On his part, Uria said such a gesture was a one in a lifetime since he has never been in Maasai mara national park.

‘’wow! I am so excited. This is a dream come true. I really appreciate what expeditions maasai safaris has done to my life. I am happy that my little talent has been recognised. To be honest, I have never been to Maasai mara National park’’ said Arap Uria.

The comedian also reveals that Peter Drury had promised him he will visit Kenya very soon for more adventure.

‘’Peter is a busy man. We had a brief chat. He encouraged me to keep pushing on what I am doing. He also assured me that after the world cup, he will go back to the premier league then take a short break after which he will visit Kenya’’ Reveals the Chelsea and AFC Leopard fan.

According to Karema, the aim of appreciating Arap Uria is to encourage and motivate people with unique talents, especially online content creators to keep on pushing on their abilities.
