Langata Member Of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor Jalango will not be re employment his gardeners who stole money from him.
Speaking to Youtuber Eve Mungai, Jalango said that he had already forgiven Eli and Litiema and would have given them a second chance to work for him but the estate where he stays cannot allow the two to be back in the estate.
“Eli and Litiema stole money from my house. Personally, I had forgiven them and even wanted to bring them back to work but you see the community around which I live they cannot be allowed even if I wanted because they were circulated as wanted criminals,”
But said that he would employ them somewhere else.
“They are really sorry, they are saying it’s the devil, their village people used witchcraft on them. I’ll get them somewhere they work,” he said.
In June this year, Jalango offered Ksh100,000 to anyone who had information that would have helped him with finding his two employees.
“This morning [Saturday], Eli Khumudu and Morris Litiema stole money from the car they were washing at home. Their phones are off and they are running with their families,” he wrote.
Sometimes back while in an interview, Jalango said how he was disappointed how the people he treated as his own family would treat him like that.
“It is the biggest betrayal I have ever had in my life and I hope it doesn’t change how I see people. Where you help people but they are only waiting for a chance to break the trust you have,” he said.
