Exiled Kenya Lawyer Miguna Miguna has finally endorsed Deputy President Wiliam Ruto for Presidency.
Miguna , in an interview with Look Up TV on Wednesday, March 16, he stated that he was totally in support of the Deputy President (DP) William Ruto presidential ambitions.
“I Miguna Miguna hereby declare that Kenyan who are committed to freedom and the rule of law should vote for William Ruto on August 9,” Said Miguna.
He asked Kenyans to come out in large numbers and vote for William Ruto adding that it was only way to ensure freedom and the rule of law in Kenya.
“Today on national TV I am saying I 100% endorse William Ruto. I am asking all Kenyans to vote for him so that we can put an end to this cycle of dynastic tyranny. I will say that without apology,” the lawyer added.
According to the self-declared general, an Azimio coalition member whom happen to be his close friend at one time approached him to join Raila Odinga’s ODM side.
“There is no way I can support Raila. what they were saying is that even if I am not supporting Raila , I should endorse Ruto. Well today on a national TV, I 100 per cent endorse William Ruto,“ he declared.
This comes barely few days after Deputy President William Ruto said he would allow the Lawyer as soon as he is elected president.
“I will bring him home at once! He is a Kenyan and he has not done anything. he should be brought home and face the law at home,” Ruto said.
Miguna Miguna was forced out of the country in February 28, and his attempt to come back in the country have hit the rock despite court orders rulling in his favour.
According to the state, the lawyer lost his citizenship and should therefore apply afresh, but according to Miguna he has never lost his citizentship.
