Famous gospel artist Juliani alias Julius Owino said that his delicious chapati is one of the things that has kept his relationship with former Machakos first lady Lilian Ngan’ga together.
Owino said that to one of the media houses, the popular Hip-hop musician said he has special skills in making chapatis and he is not planning to share that secret with anyone, even the love of his life.
“I am the best Chapo whisperer. My Chapo’s…I do everything in 30 minutes, I can do Chapos in 30 minutes, that is from kneading. I told my wife the day I will tell her the secret… that is the only thing holding that relationship,” the Utawala hitmaker said while laughing.
He also said that Lilian has a secret charm of making hot chocolate beverages and there’s no hotel that can march her skills.
“The way she makes hot chocolate, there is no hotel that makes it that way,” he said while laughing.
He is currently planning to hold a five-day concert and also shared one of the life lessons of his music career.
“Never undermine yourself, if I look at my career from when I started to now my fourth album. The only constant thing was I did not have a clue about what I was doing but the courage to listen to the voice and boldly take the steps,” he added.
Juliani and Lilian started dating around 2021 and later held an only invited wedding in February 2022.
He recently shared that he was selected to join the Eisenhower Fellowships program, scheduled to kick start on April 10 to May 18, 2023.
Juliani said that he was pleased to be among African leaders who will be traveling to the United States Of America for the fully funded transformative fellowship.
“It gives me great pleasure to inform you that you have been selected as a fellow from Kenya in the strong competition for the Eisenhower Fellowships spring 2023 Global program scheduled to take place in the U.S from April 10 to May 18, 2023. This powerful in-person experience will be preceded by a series of virtual sessions beginning in February,” he wrote.
“Over the moon! I am an Eisenhower Fellow. The Call from Erin Hillman, Vice President Eisenhower Fellowships, my day!
“Nashukuru sana sana the Kenyan panel selection Committee and everybody who made this possible. Looking forward to Learn, Grow and Contribute. Baraka Tele,” he concluded.
