Nairobi Diaries actress Diana Clara Ojenge alias Mshi Dorah is in trouble after she failed to pay sort her Sh150,000 at Bistro Lounge along Mombasa road.
Mishi was on Thursday 2nd June charged at the Kibera Law Courts and charged with obtaining Sh152,550 credit by false pretenses after dining and drinking expensive liquor On the night of May 26th and the morning of the 27th at Golden Bistro along Mombasa Road.
According to the court report, the tough-talking Mishi ordered two chicken breasts for Sh3,000, one cocktail drink worth Sh2,000, two bottles of 300ml coke worth Sh500, a one-liter bottle of mineral water worth Sh400, and three bottles of Redbull energy drink worth Sh1,650.
She also allegedly ordered six bottles of Belaire Luxe 750ml valued at Sh75,000 and seven Hennessy VS 750ml valued at Sh70,000 which she took with a group of friends she was partying with by falsely pretending that she would pay for a fact she knew to be false.
Ms. Ojenge allegedly claimed that her bank card had a technical issue and she was unable to pay.
She requested to be escorted to her house to pick up some cash but she could still not foot the bill even after two Golden Ice Bistro officials accompanied her to her house.
She went on to meet an unnamed artist at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
The suspect requested that management give her more time until Monday this week to pay the debt, but she did not do so, instead she refused to take calls from management.
She was reported to Akila police station, where she was tracked down and arrested.
She argued for reasonable bail and bond terms before principal magistrate Monicah Maroro.
Ms. Ojenge who denied the charges was freed on Sh50,000 cash bail and an Sh100,000 alternative bond with an Sh50,000 surety.
The case will be mentioned on June 16.
