Outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta has been spotted in Mombasa with the Azimio la Umoja boys led by the outgoing Mombasa County governor Ali Hassan Joho and governor-elect Adulswamad Shariff, his Kilifi counterpart Gideon Mungaro.
Also with them is former Murang’a County Women’s representative Honourable Sabina Chege.
This was the first time President Uhuru Kenyatta was appearing in public after the 9th August general elections.
The President looked happy while greeting the Mombasa residents while walking in the streets.
The presidential tour comes in the middle of an ongoing Supreme Court battle in which Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga has challenged the results of the August 9th elections in which President-elect William Ruto was declared the winner.
