PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort and Spa has been nominated as Africa’s leading conference hotel of 2022 and Africa’s leading family resort of 2022 by the World Travel Awards.
The resort, which is the flagship product of Kenya’s leading hospitality chain PrideInn Hotels, Resorts, and Camps, was also nominated in three other crucial categories, including Kenya’s leading family resort 2022.
The Mombasa-based resort that enjoys a white sandy beach and world-class conference facility was also nominated as Kenya’s leading beach resort of 2022 and Kenya’s leading conference hotel of 2022.
The five-star hotel has 240 rooms with a 600-bed capacity. It also has a sitting capacity of 2,500 people, making it one of the largest convention facilities in Kenya’s coastal region. The resort also includes grounds for weddings, launches, and summits; and modern meeting venue spaces that can accommodate events such as cocktails and special-themed dinners, among others.
Apart from conferences, families from around the world also flock to the hotel to experience its world-class amenities offering. For instance, the resort has an aqua theme park, several pools, cinema facilities, bars, and restaurants to keep holidaymakers entertained.
PrideInn Hotels, Resorts, and Camps Managing Director Hasnain Noorani said the nomination by World Travel Awards was a testament to the group’s contribution to Kenya’s tourism sector which is currently recovering from the negative impact of COVID-19.
“PrideInn Hotels, Resorts, and Camps are very grateful for getting nominated in the various categories. It means the world is seeing our efforts of delivering quality services in a highly competitive industry that is begging to recover from the impact of the pandemic,” Noorani said.
The Managing Director added that the nomination is undeniable proof that the PrideInn Paradise Beach, Resort, and Spa is successfully delivering its promise of offering excellent services and variety.
The nomination comes two weeks after the hospitality chain opened a new hotel at the Maasai Mara dubbed PrideInn Mara Camp in Narok County.
The luxury Camp, which sits on a 25-acre piece of land along River Talek banks, comprises 31 cottages, a 70-seater deck restaurant, a 700-hotel room capacity, and 15 safari tents.
The launch of PrideInn Mara Camp came after the hotel group signed a management contract with Azure Hotels and Resorts in 2020 to merge operations, bringing its current branches to seven branches countrywide.
