Liverpool extended their points and second in the English Premier League (EPL) table after thrashing Arsenal 2-0 on Wednesday night at the emirates stadium.
The highly hyped game attracted many Arsenal fans across the globe including Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Leader Raila Odinga who is a known Arsenal fan and had predicted Arsenal to win 2 goals against Liverpool.
Raila who is currently in United Kingdom for a series of engagements is accompanied by Mombasa Governor Hassan Ali Joho, Siaya Senator James Orengo, Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu, Sun East MP June Mohamed among others.
The ODM leader had earlier predicted the his team, Arsenal would beat Liverpool 2 goals but this as vice-versa and it was the Liverpool who came out strong to beat Arsenal 2-0.

Raila said before the match: “Today we play Liverpool. I know Liverpool are closely trailing and watching leaders, Manchester City but it will be a different story at Emirates. Arsenal will score two goals against Liverpool,”
During the game, an Arsenal side on a five game winning run in the league and and in fourth place in the table represented a big obstacle to Klopp’s chaser and ere the better side in the first side.

In the second half , the game tipped decisively early in a frenetic as Liverpool extended their own relentless run to their nine consecutive wins and second in the EPL table, only one point difference with Manchester City who tops the league table.
Their breakthrough came shortly after misplaced backless had almost gifted Arsenal a goal, Portuguese Diogo Jota getting a head of the London side’s defence in the 54th minute to beat goalkeeper Aaron Amsdale at his near post.
Eight minutes later, Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino sewed up three points squeezing a short under the Arsenal goalkeeper again after the hosts had twice failed to clear the ball.
Liverpool is set to visit Manchester City in April.
