Kenyan rapper Patrick Gichuku Mwangi better known by his stage name as Patonee is critically ill.
According to his friends in the entertainment industry, Patonee has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Avenue Hospital.
The medical appeal was made by Rapper Big Pin to his online fans requesting them to help him raise medical funds.
According to Big Pin, the rapper has been hospitalized and is in critical condition in ICU since October 1.
He added that his medical bill has been growing at a rate of Sh200,000 per day making it hard for his family.
Big Pin posted a poster that read;
“Patrick Gichuki Mwangi, ‘Patonee’ is critically ill and is hospitalized in the ICU ward, as of October 1. His hospital care is expensive and has been growing at a rate of Sh200,000 per day.
Plans are underway to hold a physical fund-raising event at a later date which will be communicated.
However, given the growing bills, the family is appealing for your assistance to support with any advance contribution, towards offsetting our bill.”
Patonee is well know for his all-time hit song ‘Talk To You, featuring Big Pin and Amani.
