After NTV aired the story about how the investigation into the mysterious death of the former IEBC ICT manager Chris Msando reached a dead end five years later, Gatundu Member of Parliament Moses Kuria didn’t hesitate to give us more unknown details of how he came to know about the whereabouts of Msando’s car.
He said that they were from a campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta in Muranga when Sabina Chege’s friends tipped them off and before proceeding to the location they called the Kasarani OCPD and indeed found the car.
Msando was reported to be missing hours before his car was discovered by Moses Kuria and four days later his body was discovered in Kikuyu alongside the body of a lady by the name Carol Ngumbu, it was after this discovery that Moses Kuria then posted about Msando in a controversial Facebook page “An idiot having a good time with a lady.”
Something that was followed by a string of accusations from Kenyans and the opposition, particularly the former prime minister Raila Odinga linking Kuria to the murder.
Kuria added that why is he the center of accusations from Kenyans given the fact that he and Sabina Chege both recorded statements with the DCI back then.
“The night we found Msando’s vehicle at Roysambu was after we had come from Muranga campaigning for Uhuru Kenyatta with Sabina Chege. In fact, we were tipped off by her friends. Both of us recorded statements with the DCI in Nairobi area. How comes no one has ever asked her or Uhuru who killed him (Msando)?” he said.
Msando was killed just days before the elections after saying that no one will be able to rig the elections since the IT system that he has helped build will make it impossible for that to happen and five years later Kenyans and especially his family are still waiting for answers into his mysterious murder.
Kuria in further defense said “We are only humans, and what we have experienced is a daily accusation. I want this statement to end any further association of myself with this subject since I am a parent and a leader.”
