Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale is breathing a sigh of relief after his son, Tigana Khalwale, miraculously survived a terrifying road accident. The crash occurred on February 4, 2025, along the Eldoret-Nakuru Highway near Ainabkoi.
Images from the accident scene paint a chilling picture—Tigana’s vehicle was completely wrecked, with a shattered windscreen, a crumpled bonnet, and severe body damage. Yet, in what many call a divine miracle, he walked away unscathed.
Taking to social media on Wednesday night an emotional Senator Khalwale expressed his gratitude, saying: “He came out of this crash unscathed! God is so good.” His post has since sparked an outpouring of relief and support from Kenyans.
This is not the first time fate has tested the Khalwale family. In 2017, Tigana and his siblings survived another accident in Kaimosi, Kakamega County, when their vehicle veered off the road and plunged into a ditch. Thankfully, they escaped without injuries.
“My wives and I thank God for saving our four children in this afternoon’s accident at Kaimosi. Kudos to my brave son Tigana for controlling the car.”
As the Khalwale family counts their blessings once again, Kenyans continue to send messages of encouragement and goodwill.
