Rapper Steven Otieno alias Stevo Simple boy has revealed that he built a home for his parents in the village from the money he received from concerts and concerts.
Simple while being interviewed at the ‘Iko Nini podcast’, the jovial man from Kibera revealed that he got an endorsement of Ksh 500,000 and used the money to build a home for his parents in Oyugis in Homabay County while with his previous manager.
“I received half a million in the Odi bets advert. I used the money to build my parents a house,” he said.
The seventh born in the family of eight was asked if music is paying and he was quick to answer that music is indeed paying.
“Usanii unalipa ukiwa humble. Kama hauna vituko mingi ohh na ma clout mingi inalipa, ukitulia tuu,” he added.
Few weeks ago, he revealed that he was looking forward to doing a collabo remix of his Freshy Barida song with Tanzania Bongo Star Harmonize.
This followed after he did a remix of Freshi barida with Mejja, Ntosh Gazi and Exray.
Steve also said that Freshi Barida juice will be out in the market soon.
