Director Of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji is not a strange name in Kenya. Some Kenyans may know him as the son of the late veteran politician Yusuf Haji.
Noordin Haji father was a member of Parliament for a long time before later becoming the minister of defense and a Senator.
Noordin, known by many did not need his father so as to land the DPP job, His professional record made him suitable for the job.
As the saying goes, thieves don’t honor anyone including themselves. Kenyans were shocked by the disturbing news that daring thieves broke into the DPP’s home.
The thieves broke into the Riverside home and made away with valuable properties. The thieves managed to get away with two apple laptops, 75 inch Samsung TV, a Sony Play Station 4, assorted shoes, and two bags.
The children of the DPP were also present at home at the time and their helpers Yoseph Mutindi and Sidi Safari. The DPP was not at home at the time.
According to reports, alone Police Officer going by name Stephen Mutua was on duty at the premises during that particular time.
Officers from the Department Of Criminal Investigations arrived at the scene and are continuing with investigations. Security in the area has been beefed up at the area and the entire residence of the DPP.
Kenyans have been complaining about the deteriorating security of the country but the police have also been at their best.
We hope that the offenders will be arrested and dealt with in time and the property stolen recovered.
