Tusker FC have retained the Kenya Premier League title following their 2-0 win over Posta Rangers in the final game of the season.
The Brewers needed a victory against the Rangers to stand a chance of successfully retaining the domestic title.
The Robert Matano side were neck-to-neck in the title race with Kakamega Homeboyz, with only 4 goals to separate them into the final round of matches of the season on Sunday, June 12.
Both teams needed a convincing win in their respective fixtures as they were level on points, with Tusker boasting of a superior goal difference.
In Mumias, Homeboyz earned a walkover after struggling Kariobangi Sharks failed to honour the fixture.
