Transline Classic Employee who was suspended for celebrating Former Prime Minister’s loss wearing companies uniform has been finally fired.
Cliff Ochiri recorded himself shouting Amkeni, Ameshindwa Tena
He recorded himself shouting, “Amkenii, amishindwa tena” (wake up, he has been defeated again). In the clip, which emerged shortly after the Supreme Court upheld President-elect William Ruto’s win.
Many Kenyans found the clip disrespectful to leader Raila Odinga, and it quickly went viral on social media, which ultimately led to his dismissal from the company.

Mr. Cliff recorded himself asking Kenyans for forgiveness after the company resolved to fire him.
“I would like to say those were individual views and not the company’s. I would like to apologize to our customers, especially Azimio supporters. I did not intend to hurt anyone. I am very much sorry for what happened. May you find a place in your heart to forgive me,” he pleaded.
He also pleaded with well-wishers who would be touched by his plea to help him get a job.
“They fired me. I am back to square one, I’m pleading with anyone to offer me a job so that I can support my family. I can do any kind of job,” he said.
