Roots Pary Presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has promised all pregnant mothers that should his party win in the coming August general elections, he will give them stipends.
While speaking when he was hosted on Wednesday at NTV AM live he said that any pregnant woman in his government will become a state project immediately they get until they give birth.
“Women should be given rights to choose when they give birth because that is another employment. They will be paid, any mother who gets pregnant…and there is scientific evidence to show that she is pregnant, we shall start paying her a stipend. She will become a state project right from the time she gets pregnant”. He said.
The presidential hopeful also said that his government will have enough money since they will be exporting marijuana.
“So these other rules and regulations will be there but we want to take care of a mother right from the time of inception of the child to the time she gives birth. We feel like we shall give them enough money because we shall have enough money from Marijuana”. he added.
Wajackoyah is planning to consult the Canadian government and professionals on the length of the maternity leave that women should have, which in side thoughts should start from the day a woman gets pregnant.
He has said that part of his vision is to put tough rules for perpetrators of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and plans to have special police stations to handle that such cases.
Wajackoyah has been sharing part of his visions and intends to put them into law should he becomes the 5th president of Kenya.
He had also said that he plans to export dog and snake meat to China and other countries to increase government revenue.
He also said that in his government, he plans to scrap the Boda Boda business because there will be no one to carry since everybody will be a millionaire.
