Wilson Abubakar Radido also known as Willy Paul Msafi is the third Kenyan artist to hit one million subscribers after Bahati and Otile Brown. This happened immediately after his new song LALALA was pulled down by YouTube due to copyright claims by another artist.
Willy Paul and his team quickly acted on this issue and found out that an artist by the name King Jones was the one who claimed that Willy Paul had used some parts of his song. Youtube later resolved his copyright strike thus re-uploading his song.
Willy Paul together with his alleged new girlfriend Jovial went ahead and posted a snippet of their new song on Instagram and twitter. He also asked his fans to go back to YouTube and stream the song since it was not trending.
On the post, he captioned saying, “I serve a living God, my God loves me so much. Finally the song #LALALA is back on YouTube but not trending.. keep streaming the song fam and let the devil know that I am protected by the blood of Jesus and still here to stay…. this is a very beautiful song that everyone should at least try and listen to…#LALALA.”
The song is now trending at number 4 on YouTube and has over 460,000 views and over 27,000 likes within a span of 5 days.
Apart from having 1million subscribers on YouTube, the CEO of Saldido records also has a total of 2.2 million followers on Instagram.
