In a significant shift in the Kenyan radio landscape, DJ Xclusive has announced his departure from NRG Radio after a notable six-year tenure.
His time at NRG Radio was marked by successful shows that resonated with a wide audience, contributing to the station’s reputation for vibrant and contemporary programming.
Through his socials, the 36-year-old announced that it was time to leave and thanked everyone who had supported him through the journey.

After 6 years of working with NRG Radio. I hereby announce my resignation from the company, I am grateful for the opportunity given to me by the management, I bid farewell to my colleagues, management, and most importantly to my fans who have tuned in every day for the last six years while I was on air.” he wrote.
“As I look forward to the next step in my career, I hope and pray for new opportunities that will come my way and ask for your support. Thank you again and all the listeners and clients who have trusted and believed in me over the years,” he added.
DJ Xclusive’s decision to leave comes shortly after his colleague, Mwalimu Rachel, also moved to Radio Africa, signaling a period of change for the media house.
